ACCESS AT MARINE CORPS INSTALLATIONS

It has been our honor and privilege to partner with the United States Marine Corps, and the companies like yours that service them, for the past 13 years. We are sad to announce that beginning September 30, 2018 we will begin the decommission process for the RAPIDGate Program as the Marine Corps is transitioning to a different access control system.  This transition does not impact any other branch of service.

Please contact the installation’s Pass and ID office for more information on obtaining a new pass, as the RAPIDGate program is not involved in that process.

Key Dates:

  • Some installations may be accepting current RAPIDGate credentials through December 2018. Please check with the installation you require access to on how they will be managing this.
  • December 31, 2018: All RAPIDGate credentials that only have access to Marine Corps installations will be electronically deactivated and certificates will be revoked. If you are using the RAPIDGate credential for other physical or logical access please let us know by December 28th.

A: The Marine Corps has transitioned to an in-sourced access control system.

Q: How does this impact my company?
A: If your company is participating in the RAPIDGate Program at other non-Marine Corps sites:

You do not need to take any action. All RAPIDGate credentials will remain active for access to those installations. We look forward to providing ongoing RAPIDGate services to your company at these other installations.

If your company is only participating at Marine Corps sites:

Notify us if you require access to a Coast Guard or Army site so we can initiate the appropriate process. Please contact the installation Pass and ID office for more information on obtaining a local access credential. The RAPIDGate program is not involved in that process. We appreciate the opportunity to have served your company.

A: No. The Marine Corps transition does not affect the service we provide U.S. Coast Guard and Army installations.
